Version task property - intellisense value 11 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Good Afternoon,

I've noticed that when using the Version task, NAntBuilder predicts the property names incorrectly. The prefix should be appended with a dot (.) when resolving the related properties (major, minor, etc). Instead NAntBuilder predicts the properties without the dot between the prefix and the property name.

For example, if the prefix is set to "BuildVersion" for the version task, intellisense shows these properties as ${BuildVersionversion}, ${BuildVersionminor}, etc. It should show ${BuildVersion.version}, ${BuildVersion.minor}, etc.

We have reproduced the bug. We will fix it in next minor update. Thanks, Glen.

Don't mean to bump this thread or anything, but any idea when the next minor update will be available?

Thanks!

Hi Glen,

Thanks for your reminding. I am kind of missed the issue. It is now fixed in latest version 2.1.617.7.

Best Regards,
Wayne
