Another project idea... 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi,

Since NAntBuilder 2 is in a good stable state, with only minor updates needed, I thought of another project that would be very useful.

If you haven't heard of WiX (Windows Installer _xml_) yet, it's growing in popularity for CI builds since MSBuild doesn't support the vdproj (MSI) builds. It's a great toolset, but it's lacking a really polished IDE at an affordable price.

This could be another good product for you to sell, so what do you think?

Sounds a good idea. But I don't know whether there is a market for it. Since there are serveral free product on that area, e.g. Inno Setup, NSIS.

True, but the free alternatives don't product true MSI packages like WiX does. And since WiX is already defined, it would be a front-end design much like NAntBuilder.
